What ?
Just saw a TV show last evening about a Romanian guy who states that he has invented the water powered engine. As opposed to the rest of inventors, this guy did show a Dacia car running. It’s been a while since I’ve finished high school, I kind of lost contact with physics and thermodynamics, so I need your help to confirm or tell me where I’m wrong.
The prototype
A Dacia car has a large water container inside, with two electrodes inside linked to the car battery to have the electrolysis process happening, thus producing hydrogen which is injected into the car engine. The car is also using gas besides the hydrogen.I don’t remember the exact figures, but the guy said that the overall efficiency of the car has been increased in this way (efficiency as in “number of kilometers run with one litter of gas”).
I’m pretty sure that …
the efficiency of the system is lower compared to a regular gas car. Energy is required for the electrolysis to take place, and I’m pretty sure this energy cannot be lower than the energy you get from burning the hydrogen in the car engine. Besides that, at every step you have a efficiency which is lower than 100% (so that you loose energy).
Overall, I’m pretty sure that the efficiency of a car using this kind of water powered engine is lower than the efficiency of a regular car. If anybody has good knowledge in physics / thermodynamics, I would really appreciate a more accurate explanation as a comment.

Vine Craciunul, o sarbatoare religioasa draga noua toturor. Cu totii asteptam vacanta de sarbatori sa petrecem timp cu cei dragi, sa mergem la munte, sa nedistram si sa ne “imbuibam” cu tot felul de bunatati 
. Ne-am gandit vreodata ca sunt alti oameni care pentru ei Craciunul e o zi ca oricare alta? poateda, poate nu. Eu, unu, pana acum 2 ani nu ma gandisem. Eram clasa a 12 a si totul a inceput mai mult ca o joaca daca pot spune asa, am zis sa facem cevaspecial fiind ultimul an de liceu, dupa aceea fiecare urma sa plecam spre facultati, fiecare cu drumul nostru. Am venit cu ideea sa facem cheta si sa cumparam produse sa mergem cu ele la un azil de batrani in ajunul Craciunului. Ne-am interesat unde sunt azilele de batrani, in judetul Giurgiu e un singur azil de batrani in comuna Mironesti, la vreo 80 de km de municipiul Giurgiu, din acestia 80 de km , 20 se parcurg pe un drum infect, dar in fine eram hotarati sa indeplinim ce ne-am propus. Am strans vreo 900 de lei, am cumparat produsele si am pregatit pachetele si am fost cu ele. Acolo sunt in jur de 80 de batrani deci ce le-am dus noi a fost o nimica toata… jumatate de cozonac, o sticla de suc la 2,5 litri, cateva portocale,eugenii si mere de om. Inainte sa le impartim produsele le-am cantat si colinde si nu vreau sa par fals sau ca folosesc clisee dar ce am vazut m-a impresionat profund. Am vazut batrani cu lacrimi in ochi pentru o punga cu produse. Nu stiu daca era vorba doar de produsele in sine sau de ideea ca nu au fost uitati, ca se mai gandeste si cineva la ei. Asta a fost acum 2 ani, anul trecut tot de Craciun am hotarat sa repet actiunea, de data aceasta cu mult mai mult succes. Am reusit sa strang undeva 1.500 de lei si vreau sa multumesc inca o data pe aceasta cale oamenilor cu suflet mare fara de care nu as fi realizat nimic si sper ca pot conta si anul acesta pe sprijinul lor. De anul trecut pot sa va arat si cateva poze facute ca vorba aia, o poza face cat o mie de cuvinte. Vorba multa, saracia omului, asa ca voi trece la subiect, vreau sa repet si anul acesta actiunile din anii precedenti. Tot la fel, vreau sa cumpar pungi cu produse pentru batrani si in plus doresc sa le organizez si un spectacol artistic,la azil este o sala de mese mare ideala pentru asta. Spectacol bineinteles dupa buget, ma gandesc la un spectacol care sa dureze in jur de o ora si sa vin de la Giurgiu cu 4-5 dansatori de muzica populara, un acordeonist si un violonist. Sa se danseze calusulsi multe alte dansuri cunoscute, sincer cred ca vor aprecia batranii. Fac apel la voi, cine poate sa ajute cu bani, cu produse, chiar si cu sfaturi sau propuneri poate sa ma contacteze pe adresa de mail dgs.spanu[at]gmail[dot]com sau s_dragos_16[at]yahoo[dot]com sau aici pe blog . Normal, intrebarea fireasca e de ce ati avea incredere in mine? Nu pot sa va dau un raspuns aici, increderea se castiga nu se explica. Cei care doresc sa ma insoteasca la azilul de batrani, sunt bineveniti. Voi merge probabil pe 23 decembrie, punctul de intalnire va fi la intrarea in localitatea 1 Decembrie, DN5. Singura conditie este sa aveti transport. Oricum voi face si poze pe care le voi trimite tuturor celor care m-au ajutat, eventual si un filmulet. Daca doriti pot sa va arat si chitantele de la cumparaturile care le voi face. Cu asta inchei, sper sa aud de la voi si sper sa fie un proiect de succes.Cu stima,Dragos Madalin Spanu

Today I had a speech in ASE
Today I had a speech on how to build a startup at the event organized in ASE by fitzuica.ro . You can see the event details on the fitzuica.ro website. I was invited to have a speech on entrepreneurship and startups by Cristian Voiculescu .
The first part of the event was really nice, the first talks were great business related talk. However, the last speech / closing words, was a strongly biased religious Christian speech. I was not aware that this is going to happen.
Just to make things clear, I am not affiliated in any way to any religious association (e.g. everystudent.ro), nor do I share any of their beliefs.
I also consider that it is not appropriate to invite students for a business workshop, and then close the workshop with 10-15 minutes of strongly religious biased speech. I feel it is not OK to “open” everybody up with great business / entrepreneurship talks, just to sell in the end Christian beliefs.
No, this is NOT OK, sorry Cristi !

Might not be very clear from above, so just to make things crystal clear, we had yesterday :
- about 180 minutes of great business talk.
- about 10-15 minutes of biased Christian religious talk.
